Como es sabido, el mundo acad\u00e9mico en el contexto de la ciencia y tecnolog\u00eda est\u00e1 mayoritariamente representado por hombres: menos del 30% de lxs investigadorxs a nivel mundial son mujeres (Fuente: UNESCO). En el Per\u00fa, las estad\u00edsticas son similares, seg\u00fan el censo nacional de I+D que realiz\u00f3 el CONCYTEC en el 2015, las mujeres representan el 31.9% del total de investigadorxs peruanxs. Este desbalance de g\u00e9nero en el rubro de la investigaci\u00f3n (as\u00ed como en cualquier rubro profesional) puede conllevar a diversas desventajas sociales. El prop\u00f3sito de este proyecto no es profundizar en cu\u00e1les son estas desventajas, sino en intentar aportar informaci\u00f3n que desencadene un cambio. En otras palabras, esta columna pretende darle voz a ese 31.9%, bajo la premisa de que el comunicar las historias y los avances de las mujeres en ciencia y tecnolog\u00eda, va a normalizar estas situaciones, va a generar empat\u00eda, va a aumentar las oportunidades, y va a inspirar a ni\u00f1as. Finalmente, la idea no es sesgar a la poblaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y <em>convertirla<\/em> en femenina, sino en demostrar que puede serlo, por lo menos, m\u00e1s de lo que hoy en d\u00eda
