Matem\u00e1ticamente estos equipos deber\u00edan pasar\u00a0a los Octavos de Final. Esto debido a las nuevas tendencias una vez conocidos los Grupos del Mundial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En mayo 2018 se publicar\u00e1 un nuevo ranking FIFA el cual alterar\u00e1 estos resultados y nos dar\u00e1 un pron\u00f3stico final en base a nuevas tendencias. Entre los datos curiosos que debes considerar est\u00e1n:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Si Rusia no mejora<\/strong> en el ranking FIFA, <strong>Egipto o Arabia Saudita clasificar\u00e1<\/strong> en su lugar.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Si Dinamarca mejora<\/strong>\u00a0en el ranking FIFA,\u00a0<strong>Per\u00fa no clasificar\u00e1 a los Octavos de Final<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Christian Ortiz PhD<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Noviembre 17, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los 32 equipos del Mundial han sido definidos. De todos ellos, 16 clasifican a los Octavos de Final. \u00bfQui\u00e9nes ser\u00e1n esos equipos? \u00bfPodr\u00e1 las matem\u00e1ticas darnos la respuesta? Se dice que en el f\u00fatbol no existe la l\u00f3gica porque\u00a0el favorito\u00a0puede quedar eliminado y el m\u00e1s d\u00e9bil\u00a0clasificar. \u00a1Es cierto! Se ha visto en mundiales pasados. En Corea-Jap\u00f3n 2002, Francia lleg\u00f3\u00a0como el mejor equipo del mundo (#1 en el FIFA ranking), hab\u00eda logrado la Copa del Mundo 4 a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s, pero en las tierras de Oriente qued\u00f3 eliminado con un solo\u00a0punto. Lo mismo pas\u00f3\u00a0en Brasil 2014&#8230; Espa\u00f1a, siendo la m\u00e1s poderosa (#1 en el FIFA ranking), qued\u00f3 tercero en la Fase de Grupos y le dijo adi\u00f3s al Mundial. Estas cosas pasan, \u00a1es f\u00fatbol! No obstante, el mismo patr\u00f3n se repite en cada Mundial. Habr\u00e1n equipos que dar\u00e1n la sorpresa y otros dejar\u00e1n\u00a0decepci\u00f3n. \u00bfQu\u00e9 significa esto? \u00a1Qu\u00e9 hay una tendencia! Y\u00a0si hay una tendencia&#8230; hay una predicci\u00f3n. En este art\u00edculo exploraremos\u00a0algunos conceptos de las tendencias estad\u00edsticas\u00a0y a partir de ah\u00ed pronosticaremos que equipos pasar\u00e1n\u00a0a los Octavos de Final&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Mundial de Rusia se presenta como el primero en\u00a0sortear los grupos en base al\u00a0FIFA ranking<em>;<\/em>\u00a0es decir, los 32 equipos se agrupan en 4 bombos de acuerdo a dicho ranking, los mejores van al bombo 1, los m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles\u00a0al bombo 4. Mayores detalles respecto al sorteo lo puedes encontrar haciendo <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/VQJDKo\">click aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<br \/>\nEn previas citas mundialistas los bombos se agrupaban por Confederaciones, no por ranking; por tanto, un equipo poderoso pod\u00eda tener la suerte de enfrentarse a los m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles de cada Confederaci\u00f3n o tener la desdicha\u00a0de caer en el &#8220;Grupo de la Muerte.&#8221; En Rusia no ser\u00e1 as\u00ed, los Grupos ser\u00e1n equitativos; no obstante, esto no afectar\u00e1 el hecho de que a\u00fan habr\u00e1n sorpresas en la clasificaci\u00f3n, porque estas nacen en\u00a0el f\u00fatbol y no en el orden de los\u00a0Grupos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para predecir alguna tendencia estad\u00edstica\u00a0vamos a considerar el modelo matem\u00e1tico denominado &#8220;FIFA ranking.&#8221; Detalles del modelo aparecen <a href=\"http:\/\/es.fifa.com\/fifa-world-ranking\/procedure\/men.html\">aqu\u00ed<\/a><em>.\u00a0<\/em>Como estamos a 8 meses del Mundial, consideraremos los resultados de octubre y a futuro actualizaremos este art\u00edculo con el ranking dado en mayo del 2018 (1 mes antes del Mundial). Haremos lo mismo con los mundiales pasados, agrupando a los equipos en 4 bombos de acuerdo al ranking de aquellos a\u00f1os y veremos cuantos equipos de cada bombo pasaron a los Octavos de Final. A partir de aqu\u00ed podemos obtener la <em>media aritm\u00e9tica<\/em> de los 16 equipos que avanzan a los Octavos de Final. En amarillo resaltamos los equipos que creemos pasar\u00e1n a los Octavos de Final, las cantidades de cada bombo vienen dadas teniendo en cuenta la tendencia estad\u00edstica con un margen de error de \u00b1 1, los equipos elegidos ya son\u00a0pura especulaci\u00f3n, pero con algo tenemos que empezar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En diciembre sortear\u00e1n los Grupos, estos Grupos nos permitir\u00e1n\u00a0vislumbrar nuevas tendencias, y en mayo del 2018, el modelo matem\u00e1tico de la FIFA nos dar\u00e1 un nuevo ranking.
